Baby update
So, I just got back from the doctor, and it appears not all of my contractions over the weekend have been in vain. I have dilated another cm, I am now at a 4. While my Dr. is surprised I didn't deliver over the weekend, he did give me the comforting words that if I am dilated to a 5 next week at my appointment, he will send me to the hospital and get things going. I will be 37 weeks- full term, so he can give me patocin(sp?) and relieve me of my two week long labor! At this point I am willing to do everything in my power to induce labor and contractions... I am sure I will be walking and cleaning a lot this week! Thomas is healthy and I am miserable, so it is time to get him out! :) Wish me luck! I hope to post his birth next time I sign in.

I was 41 weeks when they induced so you don't have to tell me about miserable ha! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI was almost pushing 41 weeks, so I understand too. I was induced and had pitocin, and it's really not as bad as some people make it out to be. It'll get you going! I'm so excited to hear about baby Thomas once he's finally out! :)
