Brian's Birthday/ Thanksgiving

For Brian's birthday we went up to Tucano's in Noblesville with five other couples from our ward. We all had one spouse with a birthday in the month of November, which meant every couple had one free meal. The food was delicious and the company was even better. We had lots of laughs and are grateful to have so many awesome friends here in Indy. We also went and saw Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 on opening night with the Wilsons and Daetwylers. It was good, but the depressing cliffhanger is torture! Having a date two nights in a row was pretty awesome!

For Thanksgiving we were just staying home and having the Daetwylers over. However, baby Westin decided to come on his due date, so they were still in the hospital on Thanksgiving Day. We enjoyed a relaxing and cooking (the biggest sweet potato I've ever seen... from Michael's dad's garden) and being together, just our little family. And we had plenty of food to fill up Michael and Maddie's fridge with a feast for when they returned home, which happened to be that night. Baby Westin is absolutely adorable and we were lucky enough to visit and cuddle him a few times over the week as well.
